Task Description:Last week we did some swimming lessons to teach how to be safe around the water.I have done my four facts to help you learn a little more about being safe around the water.
Task description: This week was the annual Maniakalani Film Festival! We were lucky enough to see our classes movie on the big screen at Hoyts. This week for our writing task we were able to watch some of the Manaiakalani Film Festival movies and create positive, thoughtful and helpful comments on the class blog of the movies. Task description: This week we have been learning how to create a recount by adding lots of detail to what we are writing. We had to complete a fun activity called the marshmallow challenge. Today we got into groups and completed a marshmallow challenge. We had 10 marshmallows and 20 pasta sticks. We had to make the tallest tower to win the challenge. We got into a group of 5 people: Catherine, Alpina, Emzjull, Sophia and myself. There was only fifteen minutes to make the tower.
The first thing I did with my group was to get an idea of what we were going to do with the pasta sticks. For our first idea we broke our pasta sticks and put one marshmallow on each stick and then stacked them on top of each other. But that did not work out as we wanted it to. Then we came up with another idea, we started with the base then we started to stack the marshmallows on top of each other.
The next thing that happened was we tried to put both of these ideas together to build the tallest tower. We did manage to get our tower to stand up and it was looking pretty solid for a while. While we were adding more bits and waiting for the timer to countdown our tower started to look like it might not hold up.
When the timer went off and we went to look at other peoples towers ours fell over and we had to hold it up with our hands. I think we had really good ideas and lots of them but we didn’t plan it before we started. We just went in and broke up all the sticks and marshmallows.
I had fun working with my group for this challenge. We all had lots of really good ideas. Next time I think we should plan our idea out a bit better.

Task Description:This is all the roles that i have done in out movie i have been apart of the sound crew it was a really fun job and everyone shared and took turns.The second role i was apart of was a editor i felt like i did the same amount of work as everyone it was a fun and we got to learn new things about I movie.The last role i was apart of i helped be a actor i was put in the movie it was a fun job to do with my friends i had a fun time doing all these jobs and helping out.I love how everyone took part in the different roles it made doing this a lot more fun and i got to learn new things from the people that knew some stuff so it was i had a great time doing all of this.
Task Description:This term we have made the storyboard for our Manaiakalani movie for this year and the storyboard tells us what parts are going to be in the story with pictures to show what it looks like.There are different roles that have been given but we have done the storyboard all together with everyone so it was a team work task for everyone and it was so fun to do with with everyone make new friends.we also got in to new group and but the names on there.
Task Description:This week is Maori language week! i am so happy.But my number of the this is 953 it was the highest number i have gotten but it was easy to round and make all the money.There was a 3 and a 5 so it was easy to do.
